To continue America’s technological advantage and strengthen the workforce pipeline, Lockheed Martin provides funding to STEM education outreach activities for students across the entire kindergarten through grade 16 spectrum. The company supports programs, events, and campaigns that focus on student achievement, teacher development, and gender and ethnic diversity.

The D’Addario Music Foundation awards grants and product donations to sustainable music instruction programs in order to improve access to music education. Supported programs include those that bring music back into communities and schools, and get kids playing as early and as frequently as possible.

Educational Grants
Sponsored by Shell Oil Company

Shell makes educational grants in the communities in the United States where Shell Oil Company has a major presence. Proposals should increase interest in technical careers among students, and professional development in science and mathematics for educators. Funding is provided to support programs in kindergarten through grade 12 that are designed to boost students’ mathematics and science skills. Shell also funds projects at vocational and technical schools where chemical and refinery operators and technicians are trained. At the university level, Shell supports programs that aid engineering and geoscience students and departments.
