Social Emotional Learning Innovation Fund

The NoVo Foundation, in partnership with Education First and Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors, funds teacher-led and district-wide projects that foster social-emotional skills. Priority is given to proposals focused on high-needs schools. Project examples include novel interventions or instructional practices to improve competencies such as resilience, academic tenacity, learning mindsets, self-management, or sense of belonging.

Agriculture in the Classroom

Agriculture in the Classroom seeks proposals to support a national network of state and local organizations providing programs to increase agricultural literacy for kindergarten through grade 12 students, teachers, and educators. The scope of work includes creating professional development opportunities for teachers, developing curriculum resources, promoting partnerships and collaborations to target underachieving schools, and supporting the National Center for Agricultural Literacy.

The Edward E. Ford Foundation supports projects or programs that address a school’s greatest institutional need. Funding may be used for the expansion of diversity, equity, and inclusion programming through cultural competency training, professional development, and curriculum development; creation of a multiuse trail network of outdoor learning spaces for fieldwork and physical exercise programs; and expansion of a global competence and international leadership program.
